Illustrations

I’m going to put all my finished illustrations here, so I will constantly update this page a lot in the future! New one’s are always on top!

(click the links to see the big version!)

Picture of a howling wolf.

Just a doodle to pass the time. I recorded myself drawing it, but haven’t uploaded it yet…

This is the latest version of a project I started the other day. I’m tempted to make this into a poster, but I’m not quite sure what to put on it… But anyway, a dolphin in the sunset!!

My project for the calendar assignment in my digital arts class. I’m really pleased with it, given that most of this is TYPOGRAPHY, but I’m also really pleased with those fireworks. They’re my real first attempt at them, and although I tried adding effects to them in Illustrator (all of it’s done in Illustrator) I would have liked to over effect-ify them in Photoshop…

A picture I did after seeing the Disney movie “Tangled”. There was such a beautiful scene with the two main characters on a boat surrounded by floating lanterns. I wanted to try and do something similar so this was the outcome. Sure the lanterns look like floating marshmallows, but I like it.

A quick illustration that I was suddenly compelled to do. It’s an experiment, more so the background than anything else, but still, I like it… It’s my character Alex, who just so happens to look at the sun.

A quick picture of a wolf at night. I was trying to be more “realistic” with this! I also experimented with shading styles with the multiply mask.

This is the picture I entered into the District Art Show this year. It came in second place in commercial/digital illustration. I was really proud of this and how it came out. All the little details and intricate shading made it so it took about a month to finish this.

World War II propaganda poster for school. I recorded myself drawing it, it can be viewed here.

Just something I did to pass the time before that World War II special came on on the History Channel. Inspired from the Ace Attorney series.

This is one of my recent personal projects that I took on. Since I’m in my football fix, I thought it would be cool to draw a football picture. The quote is a chopped up of from Mike Ditka. I chopped it up to make it fit and make it look “nice”, but it’s a wonderful quote all the same.

The picture is something I cooked up for a contest that I entered. It’s a scene from a book, in which the main character finds a hidden picture that his brother has been hiding from him. If you were wondering, the book is called “The Demon’s Lexicon” which is a wonderful book that you should go read right now!! Yes I have my trademark “shiny text” going on here, it’s just so fun to do that I do it a lot without noticing.

Since winter vacation was too long to be only able to draw just on paper, I downloaded the free trial to Adobe Illustrator, blasted my itunes with the song “Dancing through Life” from Wicked and got this. It’s nothing special, but I deemed it worthy in being my first picture on this page!

My self portrait that I did in Adobe Illustrator this year. I used the pen-tool on this, I’m not a big fan of it, but we were able to get along some how. Not much to say on this one haha.

My first photoshop picture this year in the MacLab. It’s an idea that came from my friend Callie, who told me I should draw a picture of mermaids while we were in Saturday School (by choice). I think it turned out fairly decent, I… er had an improved copy, but I’m… not quite sure where that went…
